I'm experiencing the same issue, I've been testing it by copying files
from a server in my house using FTP. Transfer rates average 200KB/s or
so with the Maverick kernels, however if I use the 2.6.32-21 Lucid
kernel I get speeds of 3MB/s!

I'm running 11.04 x64 with kernel 2.6.35-24-generic, on a Phenom II x4
using the nVidia mForce 780a SLI chipset, and my usb mouse freezes

Jakub, could you make sure you are running apport, and if a crash dialog
pops up to report a new bug with the crash information. Alternatively,
you could check if there is a crash
In my case Shawn Huang's ppa shawn-p-huang/ppa/ubuntu seems to fix it. The
associated python process does not exceed 20MB. Although, the language window
does not pop-up anymore, the ibus applet only shows the switch (maybe I have
to logout-login). I am 100% satisfied with this.

I upgraded (64 bit) from 10.04 to 10.10 and have a few problems - this
is one of them.
1) I insert blank CD-R or DVD-R and when Nautilus pops up a window I select
Brasero Disc Burner using default settings.
2) I choose File-Burn ISO... and then wait until process is complete and get
message.
3)
I enabled proposed updated, rebooted and it solved the problem. Thanks!

Using IMAP to retrieve emails in Evolution is not working correctly.
Some messages are recieved, others are not. Those messages that cannot
be recieved, reports the following error message: Unable to retrieve
message

Public bug reported:
Read error problem when ubuntu runs only one on pc on ext4 filesystem. System
not booting and report Read error.
Solution is to use ext3 filesystem instead of ext4. I have MSI G41 M4-L with
N10/ICH7 SATA controller, Celeron 430 CPU and Seagate Barracuda 160 GB On short
