as a udev update that led to unbootable systems because udev's install
could not complete.

I was able to avoid the previous crash (unable to create desktopcouch
object) by deleting the .ini file.
Now, I get an empty address book, and after a few seconds, a timeout
error. Here is the output from the terminal:

Seeing this problem in Natty. Ajax's patch works for me, although
needing the following modifications in Natty due to the KdScreenInfo
data structure definition changing -
screen-fb[0].depth
screen-fb[0].bitsPerPixel

screen-fb.bitsPerPixel
Xephyr would not launch
I encountered the problem always when resuming. It happened two times
for a week but it happened sometimes not always.
If you have any ideas to make it reproducible, I will try them. If not,
I will try the package for some time though, is it enough to ensure if
the bug disappeared or not?

It runs compiz with the unity profile as root, yes, but rather than
being a security/permissions issue I would guess it simply wouldn't
connect to the user's X session and Gnome services and crash due to
that. Do it without sudo for useful output.

Broadcom released a new version of firmware a couple days ago that fixes
some crashes with these chips, see:

The patches haven't been merged into the linux-firmware repo yet, and I'm not
sure what Ubuntu's process is for pulling

I solved it, updating kernel to 2.6.38.2 and changed options
