I also found that if I right-click on the panel, choose "properties",
check the box "show hide buttons" and then uncheck "show hide buttons"
again, that I can rearrange my panel. It's annoying to have to do this
after every reboot, but it's better than deleting/re-adding it.

I think it would be sensible to close this at the moment. I have had to
reinstall and initial indication is that the Kubuntu is not crashing,
although I have an error for which I can gather the automatic crash

By the way, the new motherboard is the GA-H67MA-UD
Confirmed, I see the same error message in 11.04 with Banshee 2.0

Rati: here's what I did
sudo apt-get install build-essential devscripts
sudo apt-get build-dep unity
apt-get source unity
$EDITOR unity-*/src/PanelTray.cpp
find PanelTray::Draw in there and replace GetGeometry() with
GetAbsoluteGeometry()
debuild -i
sudo dpkg -i ../u
Don't know why, but I haven't seen this problem for a while now. Haven't
done anything except for there's been a few updates for 11.04.

I am also facing the same problem, Its every where. But i found a
workaround to get working with it. if in a window you are unable to
click some where just move the window around and you'll able to click.

Interestingly thought, I switched recently from a 7600 GS AGP and an AGP
mainboard over to a Geforce GT 430 PCI-E and a PCI-E mainboard, and now
I can play videos (even 1080i) in fullscreen and in a maximized window
without problems and no crashes at all. Is this problem maybe related to
the nvidia
All I want is to set Opera to run with a -newwindow switch by default,
is that so hard?

Same problem here with a Nvidia Geforce 8400M G.
I get a black screen after installing the drivers of Nvidia.
