I see this on my MacbookAir3,1 on Ubuntu 11.04, sudo rmmod bcm5974;
sudo modprobe bcm5974 has always fixed it. Using bcm5974-dkms 1.1.9

I have two machines at home. The speed with cifs before the upgrade from
10.10 to 11.04 was ~8MB/s (100Mbit card on the older server machine).
After upgrading the server machine, the speed remained the same. But,
after upgrading client machine, the speed dropped to about 500KB/s,
which is unusabe.
The bug really does exist, at least in 10.04. The screencast shows what
is happening. The animation for focus in the compiz animation plugin
is set to Dodge to make the behavior more apparent. When the rear
window is closed using its close button, the front window Dodges and
the back window gets

Are you always able to ping the remote host from the kvm host, even when
you can't do so from the VM?

mounts/unmounts shares as defined by users in a configuration file in

with the high CPU usage. I have a dual core Atom N270 processor, and

Same problem with my Natty 11.04 running on AMD64.
It does repeat itself every time I log in as a regular user.
Logging is OK, though, trying as the root user.

I see the exact same symptoms as yourself. With 2.6.39rc4 a few times it
froze completely, I waited about 3 minutes and then rebooted.
I'm unable to use Natty, it's too frustrating, I now have Maverick and
Natty installed on separate partitions, as stated earlier 2.6.34 is the
latest
no clc in oneiric
