pair of raid superblocks on each hard drive(ex in both /dev/sdb and
/dev/sdb1). Until 11.04 it somehow worked for me.
Now i've removed the unnecessary raid superblocks and everything works.

Whether you have bought for that game you should take contact with
someone of the canonical support team, anyway, I am able to confirm this
behaviour in a fully updated Natty Narwhal system.

Looks fine. The one odd thing was its complicated postinst, which I
understand is common to packages that install ppd files (like hplip).
Might be nice if that code could be consolidated into a utility script
somewhere or you could simply HUP the cups daemon. But that's neither
her nor there.

I would like to attempt to reproduce this issue. Could you please
provide step-by-step instructions on how you ran into this issue. Please
also let me know which ISOs/Architectures were used and what steps were
taken for auto/manual partitioning and mount-point assigning.

Can you please contact the manufacturer of the optical drive to see if
they have a firmware update that would correct this issue?
Since TSST only provides direct technical support to their OEM
customers[1], please try contacting the company who's brand is printed
on the drive.
