- buttons work, including wheel emulation with middle one

Actually got this doing a dist-upgrade, which upgrade postgresql-common
and postgresql-client-common to 123~lucid.
Resolved by killing processes myself (sudo killall postgresql) doing
another update and dist-upgrade which pulled down those packages at
124~lucid. Restarted normally.

Many thanks. My LVM system now starts successfully, albeit still showing
the 60s hang occasionally. Even the supposed-to-be-affected logical

it's possibly solution, but i don't know...
