Warning to all:
I'd be wary running this 70-calibreassaultmount.sh on multi user systems. The
temporary file used to drop a payload is created in an insecure manner and can
be exploited to execute code under the context of the user.
I would like ubuntu for not including this obviously

Seems that the fix for this bug helped only some users but not everyone.
So I suggest that everyone who still has problems should report a bug
against the kernel (package linux). Seems that the printer support
without the usblp kernel module still has problems.
The SRU can get moved into
I was able to fix these symptoms by going into dconf and enabling the
xrandr plugin for gnome-settings-daemon, which for some reason had lots
of plugins get disabled after upgrading to oneiric.
