I can see there are old duplicates of this bug title, with upstream bugs
marked obsolete. Yet, this happened on current Precise. I was clicking
on a disk icon to have it mounted.
I was able to reproduce it once by unmounting the disk in the dock, then
double-clicking on it in

Hmm, after swapping out the hard drive a TOSHIBA_MK2555GSX for a
WDC_WD2500BEVS I was able to succesfully install Grub!
A work around for the TOSHIBA drive was to boot to a live 10.10 and
manually install Grub in a chroot environment.

I just logged in into an LXDE session (on an Ubuntu installation), and
for me that drop-down menu looked like it usually does, so I wasn't able

Please note that you need to have both language-selector-gnome and
language-selector-common installed.

Although overlayfs is used as the union file system for Ubuntu 12.04 alpha1, it
would be great to keep aufs 3.x in the package linux-image-3.2.0. This is also
for backward compatibility since Precise would be the LTS release.
Thanks.
Steven.

I'm now running NetworkManager in the foreground with output tee'd to a
file on tmpfs with the intent of not slowing things down *too* much
while keeping a record of what's going on. This is the command:
NetworkManager --log-level=DEBUG --log-
domains=HW,RFKILL,ETHER,WIFI,BT,MB,DHCP4,DHCP6,PP
Will it be ported to lucid?
