days ago, when I upgraded to Precise. I used the Update Manger to

hardcoded in ubufox, and stopped working because the documentation got
removed from the default install during the oneiric cycle

It changed to alt+f10, but even alt+f10 seems bugged right now (you need
to release alt to get the menu visible).
Although some applications still react to f10 as the 'open menu
shortcut' - and when they do, it still has the same problem as noted in
this bug report.

Could you post the output of banshee --debug please? If possible,
please try running killall -SIGQUIT banshee when Banshee hangs (before
it unhangs itself). This should cause the output from banshee --debug
to include a stack trace of where Banshee is stalling at that point in
time.
