I am getting a similar issue with the launcher tooltips. To reproduce,
just mouse over a launcher icon to have the tooltip display on top of
something, then use the keyboard shortcut for switching workspaces to
switch to another workspace. The tooltip will drag its former
background along with it,

$PID_FILE seems unnecessary if gpg-agent gets actually invoked by this

Just after installing Kubuntu, I uninstalled rekonq and installed
firefox instead.
However, when trying to report, ubuntu-bug tried to launch rekonq.
Basically, the prefered web browser isn't updated in KDE systemsettings.
I had to replace by hand rekonq by firefox.

Copy /etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-keyring-gpg.desktop to
~/.config/autostart/gnome-keyring-gpg.desktop and add
X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=false
to it.
You could disable it per-user with gnome-session-properties but as
this .desktop file has a NoDisplay=true entry, you don't see it there.
