Importance:
The default version of mozilla works, its only the customized Ubuntu
version that doesn't.
This is a Ubuntu issue. Ubuntu needs to make sure its client searchs in
google work for locals other than US.

and is a duplicate of bug #919020, so is being marked as such.
I have the same problem, but it only started after I installed Chromium.
Firefox is still my default browser.

I just got this bug in 12.04 beta 2, while trying to empty the trash.
The name that the crash detector proposed was exactly the name of this
bug, so I didn't submit it as a new bug.

With NVIDIA hardware and unity 5.10 from the testing ppa, the problem of
the invisible windows is NOT gone. I could reproduce it (i.e. with
Terminal).
