This is easily and repeatably duplicatable on in my lxc lucid container.
The error for the last test (with the multiprocessing SemLock OSError
seems the most likely to be a shared root cause to me. Interestingly,

We tried autofs5.0.5 (natty) and autofs5.0.6 (oneiric), but the problem
persisted (on 32-bit Lucid). Then we tried autofs4.1.4 (karmic) - same
version as mentioned by dezibelz - and the problems went away (still on

@darthanubis: it's not necessarily the Nvidia driver. There are several
possibilites for this fault.
1. Flashplayer is calling functions in libvdpau (the interface for Nvidia HW
acceleration) with wrong arguments.
2. libvdpau is calling driver functions with wrong arguments
3. Nvidia driver is
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
