I can confirm-- running Ubuntu 12.04-desktop-amd64 (installed as beta2)
on an HP G72 laptop. Wireless mouse works fine, but inserting a USB
drive into the slot sometimes causes nothing to happen-- drive
indicators don't light, and the OS doesn't see it.
If I reboot the machine, everything works
Fortunatelly I've just managed connect via some friends GSM simcard and
gathered the required logs (apport-collect 988576), please advise, while
I have to give back the simcard soon and the wireless in my W510 is the
really urgent issue by now.

I've just collected a report from a really unhelpful user who after much
ranting about 12.04 agreed to tell me that he has an nvidia GE6200
graphics adaptor. I can't get any more information from him and he has
now wiped 12.04 and put 11.10 back. He says that 11.10 works perfectly
but 12.04
Seems to be solved with packages adobe-flashplugin that does not
download the flash plugin by wget but contains it.

No, it's not, since this appears to be mostly dependent on a newer
kernel version that is not yet being shipped by Ubuntu anyway.
Unless you can confirm you get these messages in dmesg or syslog on the
currently shipped kernel version in Precise?

Same here, successfully updated remmina with the patch (through the
precise proposed repo) and scrolling has been fixed but still no
copy/paste.

wxmaxima is not in the 'open with' nautilus menu
I am also not convinced this is the same bug. I bet this machine has
been upgraded one time too many and has some horrible cruft somewhere.
The workaround for now is kdm - all session types seem to work fine.

Hello all,
I just upgraded from 10.04 to 12.04, and my suspend issues have gotten
worse. Previously, one out of every ~ 5 suspends would fail. Currently,
they all fail. I will try the suggestion from comment #9 to see if it
works..
I'm not really sure how to further debug the problem, though.
