I have the same problem with my laptop (acer aspire 5542 with an ATI
Radeon HD 4200, using the fglrx driver). It's pretty much random,

The built in microphone for HP EliteBook 6930p is not recording
properly. During record and playback test the volume is really really
low. A similar problem existed in earlier releases of Ubuntu (<10.10)
and it was resolved by adding a line "options snd-hda-intel
model=laptop
I used qemu-kvm. The disk partition was identified as a raid member and
bound to mdadm, the md array was identified as a luks member and bound
to dm-crypt. When trying to boot with one disk missing, the system
would not boot at all, which appears to be another bug ( mdadm won't

I also have had this problem after a fresh install of 12.04 64bit. I am
suddenly and randomly logged out, losing whatever I was working on when
the crash occurred. It seems to happen with increasing frequency the
