different kernel version (always 3.something, sorry, I dont' exactly remember).
The only solution that worked was to boot with kernel 2.something.
After a couple of kernel version updates, everything worked well again as
sorry, I didn't get email notification that you wrote me... It wasn't so
important because I was able to use previous kernel...

It sounds like gstreamer might have blacklisted some core plugins for
some reason (maybe you've installed a conflicting version of gstreamer
from source?).
Try removing the plugin registry files in ~/.gstreamer-0.10/registry* and start
Clementine again.

It looks like the issue is the 'default' sound card was switched from my
Asus Xonar D2 to the HDMI video card. and I cannot switch it back. I see
this in Pulse Audio Manager. it shows the Cypress HDMI Radeon 5800 as

10_smaller_syndaemon_timeout.patch: we add an extra argument to *args[]
without changing the allocation (i.e we write NULL out of the arrays),
not sure how that turns out in corrupting ebx but Chris is looking at it

I have this problem with an old machine where the BIOS does not
recognize the full size of the hard disk.
The machine is a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop and the BIOS recognizes the
disk as 137GB even though it is really 250GB.

apt-get was having problems with more and more package, not only ssl-
cert, but also mysql-server a.o.
Eventually, the problem was traced to /usr/sbin not being in $PATH:
Scripts such as '/var/lib/dpkg/info/mysql-server-5.5.prerm' (line 10) do
invoke-rc.d mysql stop || exit $? without specifying
system settings is gnome-control-center, though it's just uis to set do
configuration, gnome-control-center is not running at boot nor setting
any screen resolution if you don't start the ui and act on the control
so not likely the issue there

python-django-openid-auth
python-django-auth-openid
which seem to be incompatible because they put the data in the same
directory.
