I use Nvidia Twinview with two samsung screens, the artifacts appear on the top
left of my left screen.
I've got a black screen after the first log and it works nice after

My understanding of this is that it only affects the tree like structure that

Correction: When I connect the wireless USB directly to the USB3 port I
do get the same error. (though it functions fine) So it is not in the
extension cord.

I've a fresh install of Ubuntu Lucid 64-Bit. It's up to date and running
on an Acer Aspire 5735 (that was running Hardy perfectly I should note)
Since the install, I've had problems where the /var/log/messages file
fills with ACPI errors...further,
FPS shown in the benchmark window is the same as the fps of the games,
tested with Minecraft and Trine 2, although the fps of Compiz is limited
to 60 (because of VSync). So still a lot of stuttering with the
identical fps.

Rich Hind, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue?
Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images
are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .
If it remains an issue,
@bilal, the test case they are using suggests adding ubuntu.com as an
application shortcut. Doing so creates a launcher which has a name which
is the title from the website in question. the title for ubuntu.com
_is_ Home | Ubuntu which is why in the test case we ask for people to
look for it.
