Title:
virtualbox-guest-x11 ABI break in quantal
To manage
I've just spent quite a bit of time testing the current version of
abiword in Quantal and all seems quite well. This is the most current
snippet from the changelog:
abiword (2.9.2+svn20120603-2) unstable; urgency=low
* build verbosity increased with --disable-silent-rules
*
I have a work around. It turns out, if .Xauthority is unwriteable, it
will put the auth file somewhere else and set the XAUTHORITY variable.
Heh.
So log out of your window manager, then stop WDM. Remove .Xauthority and
make it a directory. This cause WDM to create a different location and
set
Hand tested this on precise: Linux ubuntu 3.2.0-30-generic #47-Ubuntu
SMP Wed Aug 15 19:30:10 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Created lower ext2 file system, mounted ecryptfs on top. Filled lower
to full, attempted to create file in upper, got full disk, file was not
created and there
Anyone cares to backport this to Precise?
