You run fdisk on the whole disk, not an individual partition. The error
you mentioned before makes no sense. Could you try running sudo fdisk

Was able to easily reproduce this now with just 'iperf -c ip -d.
When I ran your longer loop before it never seemed to happen. I believe
'-n 10' just made it transfer more data, which smoothed over the
inequities here.

After installing Ubuntu 12.10 on a system with a ATI Radeon HD 4650
(RV730) I had no sound over HDMI. The HDMI adapter wasn't in the list
of chooseable output devices for Pulseaudio (Sound configuration), so
this works correctly for 12.10.
The mentioned parameter radeon.audio=1 added the entry
Public bug reported:
Downloaded some tickets from the norwegian ticket master. Wanted to cut
and paste the text from the ticket to a email. Got told that the text
was DRM protected and that I could not.
I'm not using Linux because I think highly of DRM.
Evince let me copy the text just fine.
