[Bug 1088854] Re: Dell e6420 - monitor frequency issue
Hello, just wanted to add - I have tried to use the NVIDIA graphical card only w/ default driver it found (Gallium) - I have an option in DELL BIOS to disable/enable it. However the symptoms (blinking) persist even on the different graphical card driver. So I guess this is related to Xorg and not to the i915 driver (on my Intel graphics). [Bug 674594] Re: IBus preference dialog only opens after repeated attempts
ibus-setup in the command-line works for me, choosing the option prefeferences in the ibus-indicator does *sometimes* nothing (no window opens). In my opinion this bug is related to the very poor quality of the ibus-indicator. It is very unreliable and it is very difficult to change the input-method with the mouse by selecting an entry of the ibus-indicator. Most of the time nothing happens. However, toggling ibus on/off with (Ctrl_left + Space) and cycling through the different input-methods with (Shift_left + Alt) works always! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/674594 Title: IBus preference dialog only opens after repeated attempts To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ibus/+bug/674594/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1045430] Re: gnome-control-center appearance crash
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Re: [Bug 1076955] Re: Display options stuck on only one screen icon
NP. So, I have an external monitor attached and I want to edit some settings (e.g. change the resolutions). When I enter the displays options in the control center I can click on one of the screen icons and edit this screen's settings normally. If I then want to select the other screen to edit its settings, however, I am unable to do so. Clicking on the other screen's icon doesn't do anything. Instead, I must go back to the main view of the control center and re-enter the displays settings to be able to select the other screen. Once again, I can't switch to the other screen's settings and the cycle continues.
