I beleive this bug also affects me. Ubuntu 12.04 32bit. Transmission
does not honor the download speed limit. It appears to be downloading at

Firstly, I think you didn't look closely at the code snippet that I
included. As packaged, gnome-panel does not render the icons for the
user menu, so it doesn't really matter if the icons are found or not
(that is, no functionality is broken by not having gnome-icon-theme-
symbolic
I noticed today that I did not have this issue. It started for me(as far
as I can tell) on install of 12.10, but seems to have been fixed or in
some other way relieved in the past week. After a restart and a standby
the issue still does not show it's head.

Actually the problem was that /usr/lib/thunderbird/extensions was a real
directory on this system instead of a soft link to ../thunderbird-
addons/extensions .
Removing the thunderbird package and reinstalling it fixed the issue.
So something goes wrong in the upgrade path.

The dongle supplied with the Zenbook Prime (UX31A) is a mini-VGA to VGA
cable, no HDMI involved. I haven't tried hooking up an external monitor
with stock Quantal, but with the xorg-edgers PPA, I have found no

Sorry about that, I saw the nvraid module and got confused and thought
that was supposed to handle it and there aren't modules for the other
dmraid formats. Now that I think about it, that module is only for
letting grub recognize such an array without the benefit of having the
nvidia raid bios.
So has a fix been released? Because I'm still experiencing this on an
up to date 12.10 machine.
