For all those with this issue, try the current mainline kernel to see if
it helps - I have not had a lock in over a week now running Quantal with
a 3.8 mainline kernel - which is the most stable it has been in months,
since switching to Ubuntu 12 series.

Dear Christophe, thanks for you suggestion. Unfornutaly I had already
converted and tried all of the drivers. I also checked, as you
suggested, the number of the driver under W7 and is #55. I then remade
the conversion to hcd and copied in /lib/firmware but I still get hci0
command tx timeout (see
I've posted a patch to Bug 808909 which fixes the Dim Inactive bug.
Trailfocus seems to be working properly for me in 12.10 - I don't think
this is the same issue.
