I booted a cloud image of
ubuntu-daily/ubuntu-saucy-daily-amd64-server-20130513-disk1.img (where I had
opened the duplicate bug 1179513) with user-data that included 'apt_upgrade:
true'.
The image came up, installed the new ssh, and all was well.

Ubuntu's update-grub-legacy-ec2, which is provided by grub-legacy-ec2, a
binary package created from cloud-init does not consider config of the kernel
at all.

Some time ago I remember I tried to workaround this, l2ping did work but
the connection was not reliable at all, since the card could not signal
if its buffer was empty, so the driver would continue sending tx packets
continuously even with the tx buffer full. At the moment I cannot find
And yes, the issue I could see while sniffing packets is that for some
reason the card in the linux configuration does not generate the
HCI_EV_NUM_COMP_PKTS when it should, nor anything in place of that (the
dump's just silent).

I am unable to toggle wireless on/off, mute/unmute, play/pause using
Front operation panel LED keys on my Toshiba Qosmio F60. Currently I
need to enable WiFi/Bluetooth from Windows for it to work. Fn+F8 toggle
works as soft block/unblock only if I have already enabled WiFi
