Since our upgrade to 13.04 (we had 12.10 previously) our administrators
cannot use sudo anymore. When sudo is used and either the correct
password or incorrect password is used sudo immediately crashes with the
following crash report:

Hi everyone,
the bug only occurs if you use the idmap ad backend. With backend tdb
everything works fine.
I tracked this down to the file /var/run/samba/gencache.tdb. The file
lies in a tmpfs and is cleared on every reboot. Winbind uses it to
store the sid2uid and sid2gid mapping information in

There was a complete signal outage yesterday + a power outage recently. I
don't know which messages should be atributed to which cause.
Getstream is definitely not immune to complete signal outage, not even with my
hackpatch.

With Catalyst 13.6 beta drivers (version 2:13.101-0ubuntu1) again this
bug seems to be solved (as in previous versions), but also the two other
bugs I mentioned (the one similar to bug #1088220 and the one reported
as bug 789 on the unofficial ATI Bugzilla) are apparently corrected

Ok i found the trouble:
Since Kernel 3.8.x the Broadcom drivers, that are recommended by
additional drivers cause the kernel panics. Simce i have a 14e4 4315
chipset (Broadcom 4312) card, i needed to install firmware-b43-lpphy-
installer by hand. This solved my crashes. Just waas a bit tricky as

First of all thank you for your efforts to help me in this
situation.Today while i was working on the internet ,i saw on the side
the software update that i didn't have asked about it and when i tried
to open it so i could watch on my screen what was this update the screen
I'm attaching a valgrind report with full debugging symbols. The memory
leak is very notorious.
In some other place I read that it had something to do with using the
weather, and that removing all locations appears to prevent the leak.
The valgrind report seems to confirm that.
