believe I stated, in comment #7). Current window manager is xfwm4. For
the screenshot provided, I intentionally moved the window with
Alt+left_click as I knew this would trigger the issue (also indicated in

I cannot reproduce with KWin FWIW, but have an openbox box somewhere (no
pun intended).
Can you apply the attached debug patch, reproduce your bug (move with

the libGL.so symlinks in /usr/lib (and lib32) to point to the libGL.so in the

As a temporary workaround I was able to install a .deb from the Debian
repos which apparently installs the .ko files and the updated userspace
binaries. It throws no errors when running but its behavior is not
correct (probably best left for another bug report)

perhaps) the X server shuts down and dumps me at a boot console showing
me what things started up when I booted.
