but it is not intuitive. I always tried to tap the screen to get an
operation panel and this did not work. I have to swipe over the screen
(equivalent to moving the mouse) to get the panel. Then all works. The

To add to the above, installed thinkfan with a reasonable config file,in
particular specifying:

which sets the fan to unregulated above 74C.

running -v3.11-rc4. side note: gnome-panel did not come up under any
user (permissions, I think). Had to start under terminal.
The AWUS036NHR did not power up. I believe there was no driver for it.
