This is caused by the "opcache" php module in conjunction with the
"CACHE_ACCEL" setting in Mediawiki. If either $wgMainCacheType is set to
CACHE_NONE or "opcache" php module is disabled Mediawiki search will no
longer cause php exceptions, and function as expected.

Okay, it looks like "sudo" was the cause. When I ran "upgrade-manager
-d" without sudo, it successfully started the installer. I must have
done that by accident the first time (comment #8).

This bug I can reproduce when renaming printers (the poster of the
duplicate bug has this problem on printer renaming).
If I left-click a printer, then right-click it, and after that choose
"rename", system-config-printer immediately crashes, not giving me the
possibility to modify the printer's n
This is fixed upstream in 1.2.10.12, but I'd need a MRE for the package
to push that. Probably makes sense to ask for it anyway..

The problem occurs randomly, one day well another day off will freeze,
and you can not even get the console, and restarted in the X functions,
have to use ctrl + alt + print + reisub.

It will update the kernel and is still happening, I realized I had novau
drivers thought it was problem of video, so upgrade to proprietary, but
it still has the problem.

After moving my business environment to 13.04 I suffer from long delays
between prints to DYMO LabelWriter 450 labels printer.
The delay is about 7 seconds, which is pretty annoying when many labels
have to be printed.
I see similar delays when printing to OKI B410d printer,
