While testing 2.99.903 I hit this bug, which isn't actually a regression
since 2.21.14 at least, since I can only reproduce it on my sandybridge
laptop, not on ivybridge or haswell.

partitioning step doesn't have discard as
1. Open Nautilus
2. edit Bookmark
3. manipulate smb Link ( smb://DOMAIN;USERNAME@PC-NAME/c$/ )
4. enter TAB, do not close Bookmark edit
5. Klick on the Bookmark in Nautilus
6. Nautilus crashed
7. After start Nautilus again, Bookmark worked and SMB is mounted

Patched cloud-init to deal with this effectively by adding the ability
for cloud-init to remove existing parititions and changed the Azure
configuration to delete the existing partitions on the ephemeral device.
