I've installed usb-modeswitch 2.0.1 (from source) to make some tests.
After a fresh install of usb-modeswitch 2.0.1 when I plug/unplug/plug
the 3g Modem, it is correctly recognized and booted up, and i can see it
on Network Manager and connect to 3G.
When I reboot my OS it stops working.

As your command installs all available lenses --ther're a ton of them--,
I opened Synaptic and tried with reinstalling only the already installed
ones.
- Reinstalling the existing unity-lens-* changed nothing.
- Looking at unity-scope-home showed this wasn't

have already put your solution as an answer to my AskUbuntu question,
but if you want, you can add your answer and I will remove mine.
I think the only thing left now is an update to the official

Hibernate option is missing from menu in 13.10 even after trying to
@paultait22 In 13.04 disabling the Unity-specific addons is sufficient
to prevent bookmark scanning. Thus you bug is specific to 13.10, so you
should create a separate bug report. This will make sure that the
community fixes both bugs, not just one and missing the other.

With PPA Alt+Shift works, but Ctrl+Shift has Next Group bug. I use Asus
