Hi, I think that I should write here as I was also having this problem
for over a year. Last week I gave google next try and it occured that
it's hardware problem in some of dell's laptops family. I've been using

Same for me: the ppa did the thing ( i also applied the workaround
mentioned in #10 though). I'm using ub!ntu gnome - after resume, i'm no
longer asked for a password?! Anyone alse with this issue?
