PoC patch for both winless and windowed plugins. (Windows)
This proposal is a sensible workaround (as a complete solution would

I close my Lenovo Thinkpad R61i notebook with Ubuntu 13.10 and cinnamon

Jack1 can run Audiofire 12, but now it must be Jack2.
I recently bought an Audiofire 8, I connected AF8's word clock in to AF12's
word clock out, so AF12 is master and AF8 is slave.

Maybe we could use http://bribe.io/ to fix this when it will launch. I'm
mostly kidding but I'm also thinking a little about it. However this bug
is older than the first iPhone (April vs June 2007) so I wonder if there
is anybody left in the dev team with the knowledge to fix it.

For 3.8 kernel on Precise: Verified with 201201-10378, the fix is in
3.8.0-31 as AceLan's comment #10 in bug 1187656
For 3.2 kernel on Precise: Verified with 201201-10377, the Bluetooth looks good
on 3.2.0-23, and 3.2.0-54 (even after suspend)
