When the dnsmasq package is installed its postinst starts the dnsmasq
daemon via the initscript. Dnsmasq initially reads what is most probably
an empty file from /var/run/dnsmasq/resolv.conf and so initially can't
resolve names. (The file is probably empty because it is generated by
/etc/resolvconf

Sometimes I start my computer every possible input is ignored, so that I can't
even log in. I tried CTRL+ALT+F2, but I it doesn't work either. Same with
touchpad.
Another problem is that after I log in sometimes the keyboard layout changes to
english, but in the status bar
I too have now hibernate in the desktop session without killing any
process. I had modified the .pkla file earlier as described in #13 and
today after a reboot it finally works without any further tricks. I had
used pm-hibernate successfully for the last 5 days, and at least

The vesion of libgrass_gproj.so in grass-core package was built against
verision 1.8.x of GDAL, but libgdal package is version 1.9 so GRASS
library as installed by package manager is unusable due to:

Seems to only happen on networks using WPA-Enterprise (e.g. my
university's wi-fi), but it may be an issue unrelated to that. This is
still happening in Ubuntu 13.10.

As a baseline, the 3.8 kernel works normally, with text displays on all
six vts. Both the 3.9 and 3.10 kernel's fail in different ways and to
different degrees.

- does not work first boot (poweroff or reboot)
- works (if power drained, battery removed)
- no console display (vts 1-6)
