unfortunately we do not have time to re-develop fixes for old CUPS
releases that we no longer support in order to work around a design
deficiency in a Linux-specific monitoring application which should not

to get confused when switching between terminal, gnome screen saver and

No problem accessing OOo text documents on a different SAMBA server (no
calc documents there) so it really does seem to be a Calc-Samba issue.
The original SAMBA server was quite badly bogged down in that other
processes (eg Adobe-PDF accesses) were slow but all seems to be working

or Make CapsLock an additional backspace.
The last point worked for years, up until Ubuntu 13.10. The option to

I figured that for me the error messages disappear if you set the SATA
mode to 'Compatibility Mode' instead of 'AHCI' in the BIOS. Ubuntu still
booted after this change. I could not find a relation to the Optimus
Graphics switch as reported at
201 - 300 of 888 matches
