I can confirm that the plugin network-manager-openvpn does not
automagically import the certificates and thus rejects to save the
settings.
Instead, you need to pull at least the ca into a .crt file as described
in #33 and select it separately e.g. to use login / password
authentication.

I have the same situation as romaindu91: no apport dialog, the window
freezes and all colours become gray shades: see attachement. If I
execute gnome-control-center from the terminal and if I click the User
Accounts icon, I get a libv4l2: error getting pixformat:
Inappropriate ioctl for device.
Now tracked in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=419830.
The env UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0 ./eclipse from above is a viable short-term
work-around.

Upon closing the lid or leaving the laptop unattended for a certain time
(such that the screen dims and re-login is required), the
system freezes. The mouse can still be moved, but clicks do nothing and

Same here, on a new install of ubuntu 13.10 on a eee pc
reboot set layout to US keyboard instead of fr_ch
switching keyboard layout gives the good layout

This whole sequence started when I attempted to install 12.04 lts onto a Dell
Optiplex 280 with single core Pentium 4. 3gb memory. 750 Gb hard drive
partitioned as (3) NTFS partitions of about this size. C ~ 300GB, D ~ 300GB, E
~ 120 GB. Native OS is Windows XP Service Pack 32 bit.
