I just tried with 13.10. I got nearly the same result.
The result of 13.10 differed in that I *could* dismiss the same message
box after it was presented. With 14.04, I could not dismiss the message

code compiz to default to 60Hz. How often is 50Hz really the correct

[USB-Audio - USB Sound Blaster
It's apparently three speakers, but only two channels. The sub outputs
the merged left and right channels. When I ran the 'ubuntu-bug audio'
command the tone test it did wasn't alternating channels in any way.
The !!Sysfs Files section of the script doesn't appear to output

If we do this with golang-gc (gccgo would follow established update
procedures),
then right away if there is a security update or SRU in golang-foo-dev, we can
do 'reverse-depends -b golang-foo-dev' to see what needs
Bug was reproducible multiple times to different USB drives.
After installing kernel patches [1], multiple installs to different USB 3.0 usb
drives worked just fine.

You should have a package called python3 according to the manifest.
Does it actually copy the files with the line removed? Do you see
Almost finished copying files...? If you do then it may be crashing
on the line
self.db.progress('SET', 100)
and we can say the 'set' command is the problem.
Check if there is an updated BIOS version available for this model.

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1299398, so is being marked as such.
I recognized exactly the same behaviour as described by Paul M Edwards
(paul-m-edwards) and it is really annoying. Is there any workaround?
