I've made some progress with these fails. A lot of the confusion is
around the way gccgo hooks the SEGV handler and attempts to backtrace
all goroutines (the code is in runtime_tracebackothers())
It does this by calling runtime_gogo() which temporarily switches to the
goroutine using
This doesn't explain why we failed in the first place however. Using
gdb, I have seen a couple of SEGVs in:

I've been looking at another angle via a different crash. I see a
crash if a child process gets a signal, which sort of reflects back on
the parent.
Are there any alignment requirements for signal handling on 64k kernels

Log is attached;
Kernels 3.11.0-20-generic and 3.13.0-24 are both affected with this
black screen-error in KDE.
It seems that KDE without effects works and Ubuntu/Unity with effects too.
Other OpenGL apps too.

Thanks for your work on this so far! Since the branch wasn't proposed
for uploading to trusty, I did the proposal now. However at the same
time I commented on the versioning thing so please see the merge
proposal comments and continue fixing the branch:
AOSP simply does not handle this: its ril.h it does not define this
error code. The error codes come from the codeaurora [1], which is
sponsored by Qualcomm and implements Snapdragon optimizations for
Android. Cyanogenmod took the code from them, ril.h and parts in the
java telephony service that

bzr verify-signature fails
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Battery icon does not reliably display correct values at low battery
levels.
The icon works fine until you get below 30%. At 10-30% a small red icon
should be displayed, and another icon should be displayed at 10%.
Currently, the icon doesn't seem to
m-manico, I tested this in 14.04, which brings baobab 3.8.2 and couldn't
reproduce what you report. Can you please try this in 14.04, either by
trying a life USB or CD or if you decide to upgrade?
