Yes, hibernation itself DOES work in Utopic (Lubuntu flavor). However,
as I notice that I'm even able to hibernate my machine via GUI menu, I
might have done some change that enables this (because I do remember
there was something on launchpad about this being disabled in the

Do you get a crash file when this Unity crash occurs? If so, could you
get that to us? Also, could you paste the output of
/usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p?
We're not really seeing any other reports like this, so not sure what's
going on

Steps:
1. Turn sound via sound indicator to zero
2. Open the music app and start playing a song
Result:
the song plays
Expected:
You cannot hear the song
Note that if you adjust the volume via the hardware buttons, the
indicator visibly changes, but the volume does not.
This issue also affects the latest Xubuntu installation image
(xubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso), which is not installable on an Asus
M11AD.
