On Precise, the window appears in the top left of the screen and its size
is approximately 20 x 20 pixels. At launching all the screen is disturbed
and sometime I have a crash report for the application Marco (Nautilus
in Mate).
This looks similar to bug 1170384, which is fixed since Saucy.
I just installed 3.10.4-0ubuntu1.5 from proposed and it does indeed fix
the issue for me - IMAP over TLS to port 993 is now working (as opposed
to STARTTLS, which I've not tested as I don't have a server to test
