just discussed this in further detail and evaluated what ios and android does
- ios only allows *#+ and Wait (,) and Pause (;) to be stored with numbers
- android allows any kind of formatting with pretty much all characters ()
space, -, etc..
Our model is more like ios. We should modify the

The right fix is to use the -gt operator, not .
It may be a bug on the part of dash to interpret this as shell
redirection in between '[' and ']', but I'm not sure of that, and in any
case the right operator is -gt.
