I started Ubuntu with my Live-CD to reinstall it. So I follow all steps.
During the installation it crashed, so Ubuntu starts a program to check
if my HDD is defect. The program crashed and I should report the bug.
But my HDD isn`t defect. I have Win7 also installed and it

- domain user names contain backslashes (DOMAIN\user.name). Ecryptfs checks for

Need
Some further information.
Opening the crashing share via SMB intead of NFS allows correcly see files,
navigate, etc. everything is OK. This happens using both Nemo and Nautilus.
(this is for me a workaround).
The number of items in the root of the crashing share is exactly 621, files

Ubiquity installer first said that the bootloader (which was set to
install to a USB flash drive, /dev/sdc) was unable to install, then
immediately after I closed the error dialog, the installer crashed.

and upstart:

FIXED:
udev_218-3ubuntu1_amd64.deb
seems to have fixed this bug, at least in my initial test under Dracut.
Will test under initramfs-tools as well but see no reason for trouble in
one and not the other given the previous results.

Got this (for user@1000.service) on new installs of Lubuntu 14.10 64-bit
on one machine, and Ubuntu Server 14.10 32-bit on another. On the
Lubuntu machine, I had other issues with the on-motherboard video, so I
put another video board in it and re-installed Lubuntu, and this time
this bug did not
This problem is still exist for me.
