Forgot to add, when I run ofono's list-modems script, things look
normal, the first SIM is powered, and registered to the network, the
second SIM ( ril_1 ) is PIN locked.
I just hit this a second time, and again no indicator-network.log file

This bug still exists with Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS as host and Ubuntu Mate
14.04.01 in the VM.
Using Mate in the VM with cirrus as video driver does work, but the
screen resolution is limited to 1290x104 - insufficient for some
graphics work. For vga it is even worse.

I'm porting fcitx-qimpanel to Qt 5, which provides the widget for
displaying a list of candidates for CJK input. But the Qt 5 QPA doesn't
currently support the following features that it needs:
- QQuickWidget
- setting window masks
- propagateSizeHints()
and other features

I think this bug might affect installations in UEFI mode, where grub2
replaces syslinux (I have not tested that case). But it does not affect
the i386 (32-bit) versions of the Lubuntu iso files.

This bug still exists with Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS as host and Ubuntu Mate
14.04.01 in the VM.
Using Mate in the VM with cirrus as video driver does work, but the
screen resolution is limited to 1290x104 - insufficient for some
graphics work. For vga it is even worse.
