I tested these patch with newest kh2.0 image
(kittyhawk2-trusty-amd64-iso-20150508-1.iso).
The UI was scaled correctly during installation.
But the unity-greeter was not shown correctly.

Bug exists on, the update give no change to it. Updates of installed
apps did not change the behaviour, the icons did not appear.
But here is a workaround: Remove and reinstall the bugged Apps.. Now the

In my optionion this is not a medium bug, but a really serious one!
I acknowledge there is a workaround, but that means one has to know there is
actually a bug.

This laptop is very new, and I see several (proprietary ?) workarounds
being factory-installed, and not available from repositories. I need
this laptop in the coming weeks, and I am very reluctant to risk
bricking it by toying with new kernels.

I've compared xfce4-power-manager.xml on 14.10 to 15.04. Both do not
have Show tray icon option, so this is not something that disappeared
between versions 14 and 15

Curiously it was just the reverse in Debian: the init script was looking
for /var/run/cyrus-master.pid, but the software actually used /var/run
/cyrus-master.pid.
