After a conversation with tvoss, I understand that if I turn the
Location detection switch off, effectively GPS will be turned off too.
However, the two switches are independent: I can switch Location
detection off and the GPS switch will stay on. This might be
OK, so that pretty much confirms that the likely issue is your wireless network
using a small DH.
I'm not quite sure what else to suggest, since the problem isn't client-side.

@greyback, it seems that upstart-app-launch just sets the score for
paused apps at 900, and changes them back to 100 after being resumed. I
wonder where these numbers came from, and how OOM Killer further
prioritizes processes with the same score. 900 seems pretty high, but I

BTW, is there anything else needed from my side or anything else I

I'm still having this issue and I fear my system might be rendered

Is there any way to revert the xorg driver to an old version that does

I guess I read it now as no binary bits in main. But you still want the
source in main for building the universe binaries.
Jamie, how OK is webkit2gtk in main as source-only?

But in comment 8, Jamie says It sounds like Tim is working on a
solution which will obviate the need for g-c-c parts that need to be in
main to depend on webkit, which is fantastic.
Which made me think we didn't need webkit2gtk in main.
