As this won't make main inclusion this cycle, I'd also like to introduce
a openvswitch-switch-dpdk source/binary package to universe to allow
some access to dpdk via openvswitch.
This would avoid the need to MIR dpdk for this cycle, and would be

I can confirm the bug in a fully updated instance of a 15.04 install
(currently hogging 2GB out of 8GB of memory). As a workaround I just end
the process, so it restarts with no memory usage. But this needs to be
done every now and then, typically every day or so.
If logs are required, please ask.
What are users who are getting this bug supposed to do? If users are
unable to use LibreOffice this makes Ubuntu quite unusable for people
who mainly use their computer for editing documents.

The anon_inode:dmabuf i mention in #18 is not leaked anymore if we make
ApplicationScreenshotProvider::requestImage return an empty QImage and
is still leaked if we return a QImage with junk data (without calling
mir::screenshot) so it seems it's not mir.

After updating the package xe-guest-utilities_6.2.0-1120_amd6.deb (from
xs-tools.iso) to xe-guest-utilities 6.2.0-1120+dsf1-0ubuntu1~15.04.1 the file
/etc/init.d/xe-linux-distribution and it's symlinks in /etc/rc[0-6].d remain.
This causes an attempt to double start/stop /us
Updated to build 3.12.11-0ubuntu1.15.04.1 and successfully sent an email
with 0.5MB attachment, which would have failed with the unpatched
version before. So from my point of view the fix works as expected.

It's on-topic because changing SoundEffect to the alert role (and fixing
bug 1418210, which should be fixed regardless) would fix this bug. The
volume hardware buttons would control the volume of the game sound
effects. But maybe there's a better solution. So let's step back a bit.
