Just to add: closing the laptop lid (and waking up) works fine if I've
logged out of Xfce (and am at the LightDM login screen), so it seems to
be an issue with Xfce/Xubuntu. Thanks.

When displays go to sleep, upon return from sleep the two monitors
attached to a belkin mini displayport to 2x HDMI, do not return from
sleep. This results in part of the desktop being inaccessible, until the
external displays are unplugged, and then plugged back in.

restart, machine stops 5.5 seconds into boot process with the error

After update, error drm:intel_pipe_config_c
I really like the work that elementary is doing. (I'm a monthly finite).
This issue affects me though. I can't get my computer to boot. I end up
on a grub rescue prompt. Had to go back to Mint for now, but will come
back to elementary when there is a fix.
