Solved on my end by stopping XHC (bluetooth related) from allowing the
macbook to resume.
To solve permanently create a file called
'/etc/udev/rules.d/90-xhc_sleep.rules' and put the following in that

1.) I did a fresh install, updated the kernel and rebooted.
2.) I manually upgraded lightdm and ubuntu-mate-core immediately => everything
ok.
3.) sudo apt-get upgrade and everything is fine, no bug to be seen.
4.) Obviously the order in which the upgrade is applied is
@TomasHnyk, the vacuum cleans up the database, it shouldn't delete
records...

I refuse to use Apport until it offers an option for fully anonymized
reporting. That means full anonymization of all filenames, including

On a second thought, the filtering could just as well be done on top of
libaccounts, in the actual account gui (uoa and kaccounts). There the
filtering is a matter of simple code in QSortFilterProxyModel (we
already have one there anyway).
This way the KDE providers would never show up in uoa and

The "Your system is running in low-graphics mode" affects of a lot of
users and can be cause by literally thousand of issues regarding
graphics (query askubuntu.com if interested). That already starts the
list of issues with this particular dialog and the situation Ubuntu
lpr prints everything correctly
