I have installed ubuntu 16.04 on my Dell XPS 15 9550 laptop recently and
I have noticed that laptop sound is buggy. When I use my earphones it
works perfectly but when I use the laptop speakers it's very unclear.
It's like a loud noise coming from a small speaker.
After noticing /var/lib/dpkg/info/live-installer.postinst and seeing it
has the crucial step commented out I think the source of the issue is
now identified.

Having a log would help a lot when doing remote check disk.
At the very least, telling why it's not important would be a first step
instead of just ignoring this bug for the past 6 years.
