the issue was that in some cases, typing the Greek key for accent (tonos, the
key is ";"), and then after releasing it, typing "α", resulted in two separate
characters, i.e.

After upgrading to 16.04LTS, I no longer get sound from either chromium
or firefox, tested on both youtube and facebook videos. Both "play" and
"paplay" produce sound from the command line.
If I log in as a guest user, firefox can play audio - I didn't test
chromium.

I think it is possibly caused by steam. I can recreate the issue, cause
the lines to show in dmesg. By opening up Steam, load a game, then
quit the game, and then quit steam. Then the new error lines will be
there. As I said though it doesn't happen on 3.19 kernel.

DRC ignores
Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted

that the issue I mentioned in comment #6 might be similar to the one
with typing Greek as you have reported previously. What do you think?

Ah, I think I just 'got' what you were suggesting. If I move the
/usr/local/lib/libimobiledevice* away, and then look at the ldd output
from upowerd, I see that it indeed shows it linked to libusbmuxd.so.4,
rather than .2.
[~]$ ldd -r /usr/lib/upower/upowerd | grep usbmuxd
libusbmuxd.so.4

Im trying to install xenial from minimal cd on hp laptop.
fails at the end of update, cant and wont go further in the installation
process.
i386 python3-apt i3861.1.0~betabuild1 is the file making the halt.
This was from archive.ubuntu.com , tried different other archives as the
swedish and
OK. Thanks. We're testing on this. But our driver only support 14.04.4 &
16.04, so we can only verify on 4.2 & 4.4 kernel, is that OK?
