the time and usually the computer immediately reconnects to my wifi
router.

I also see the same problem coming out of suspend. Manually restarting
network-manager with 'sudo systemctl restart network-manager.service' is
a workaround but not a solution. I go in and out of suspend a lot with
my laptop so this one is very annoying.

Yes, it's an upstream bug. I've verified that it exists under an older
version of OVMF, and also with the qemu command line, so it's a qemu or
kernel thing, not libvirt or ovmf.

I can confirm that `sudo apt-get install libgif-dev/xenial-proposed`
fixes the libvips test suite failures for me. Previously I saw errors
from direct gif load, and load via imagemagick. I now see a clean run.

What happens
After gnome-software itself is upgraded to a new version, a user needs to log
out and log back in (or otherwise kill the background gnome-software
Regarding #3: I'm aware of bug #1362962. Here I'm talking about the
small icon on the right side of the notification. This is using an old
image. The latest release OTA-11 introduced an anonymous icon without a
number (see screenshot on the right). This should be used by calendar-
notifications.
