really much safer than the bigger updates (2.10 -> 2.12) in terms of

I've tested the 4.8-rc5 mainline kernel, it boots successfully, but the
problem is still there - touchpad is not working after boot but starts
working after suspend. The outputs from xinput and synclient are the
