I see this as well. Seems to make the python35 plugin not loadable since
I have it in the plugins line in myservice.ini-file, but python2 is used
according to the log. The import site issue is related to the fact it
tries to use python2.7 in a venv from python3.5. I added it in an
earlier (failed)
the test still fails when built using protobuf 3.0.0-7ubuntu2

I have the same problem with Kubuntu. Clementine crashes when launched
for first time on a fresh booted session, but runs fine when launching
again. It started when I was running 14.04 LTS and continues after I
upgraded to 16.04 LTS.
When launching Clementine for first time from a terminal, the
network-manager-vpnc, network-manager-pptp & network-manager-openvpn are
still left behind in Xenial.

Hi Nish,
When I first tried iptraf on a fresh xenial beta and it was already broken.
Later I installed the stable and iptraf still broken. Other apps are affected
by this like macchanger...
On 14.04 I clearly remember seeing eth0 eth1 names for example ifconfig, now
everywhere the new name.
I have tried compiling vanilla vlc, both 2.2.2 and 2.2.4 version.
1. I didn't have all libraries, so I have disabled lua and other
packages were excluded by configure script. No memory leak.
2. Then I installed lua compiler and lua lib. No memory leak.
3. Then I have installed all build
F everyone's I: It's unrelated to the compiler - I built 2.12.3 with GCC
6 and it works still, and I built 2.12.4 with GCC 5 and it breaks still.
Here's hoping that 2.12.5 is better. I've stolen it from
incoming.debian.org and tossed it at ppa:laney/ppa.

I have had this problem in OTA11 & OTA12.. It is very frequent, and

- Upgraded my xubuntu 16.04 system on 01 Jul 2016. The apt update
- included an upgrade to gtk2-engines-murrine. However, after the upgrade
- and boot, the any desktop text, folder, launcher, etc. had a problem
- with the text and shadow being quite far apart.

I can confirm #9 as it just happened on my 16.04 system as well.
However, mine was a fresh install instead of an update from 14.04.
